Thanks iStar for teaching me the GREAT advances with technology.
I might volunteer and read books for LibriVox.
I will encourage others to access feeds and podcasts. And the best thing is .... I can impress my friends and family. :)

Librivox

What a great idea! Volunteers reading books in the public domain. The sample audio of Twas the night before Christmas was read by man and a little girl. It was so enjoyable.

Overdrive
Overdrive has photos of book covers and a better screen design. They have everything anyone could want, eAudio, ebooks, music and video..... I like the link to new items.

Podcasts

I looked at the two directories for podcasts, podcast.net and podcast Alley. I liked the categories in podcast Alley.

I subscribed to NPR: Books in my bloglines account. NPR: books has reviews and author interviews. I am looking forward to subscribing to Writer's Almanac .

NPR has a better podcast directory. It is visually easy to use and can be searched by topic, podcast title and podcast provider.
